Our members recently volunteered at the ABBY Foundation's Pet Vaccination at A.V. "Bull" Salas Park in New Caney.
Twice each year the ABBY Foundation invites pet owners to their Pet Vaccination Clinic where they off dog and cat vaccinations for $8 per shot from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Microchips are available for $15.
Senior citizens love their pets, but many can't afford to vaccinate them. This event provides very low cost (or free) vaccinations for the pets of senior citizens. A local veterinarian and their vet technicians will give the vaccines to the pets, and Kingwood Rotarians will volunteer to lend a helping hand at the event.
