In lieu of our regular weekly meeting, our members will volunteer this week on Thanksgiving Day at "Operation Turkey-Houston" and will pickup and deliver 250 meals. We'll deliver these meals to the local battered women's shelter, to local first responders, and to the homeless. This is our 3rd year of participating in Operation Turkey which gives us a chance to help those that are in need, are lonely, or are working on the holiday. |

Kingwood Rotarians have decided to "Adopt A Family" under the guidance of our newest member, Laura Valladares, which is a school conselor. The mom and dad of seven children died, and were being raised by their grandmother. Recently, the grandmother passed away and all seven children are now being raised by their uncle which is under 30-years of age. The need is huge, but our members are helping by purchasing groceries, clothing and shoes, plus items from each child's "wish list".
