Kingwood Rotarians were honored to be part of the Holocaust Remembrance Association's "Holocaust Garden of Hope" official groundbreaking event in Kings Harbor in Kingwood.  Former ABC13 Anchor Shara Fryer was the emcee, and guests included representatives from the Israeli Consulate and the German Consulate in Houston.
 
This "one-of-a-kind children’s memorial garden & open-air museum" will feature eight pocket exhibits to illustrate the experiences of children during the Holocaust.
 
It will commemorating the victims and survivors, as well as the Allied soldiers and ordinary Christians who became rescuers during that dark period.
 
Kingwood Rotary is sponsoring an $1,800 paver at the entrance of the Holocaust Garden of Hope.
