Our "Cards For Our Troops" project is one of our favorites since it gives us a chance to tell our local tropps that are serving in harm's way that we love and support them!
Thank you to everyone that completed a card with a special "thank you" and holiday message to let our troops know we love and appreciate them!
We also had cards decorated by children expressing their thanks to our brave troops.
How will the cards get to the troops? We partnered with Blue Star Moms Houston to pack "Care Packages From Home" to fill boxes for our soldiers from the Kingwood/Houston area. We'll collect all the cards and place one inside each of the 250+ boxes that were mailed overseas to our local troops serving in harm's way overseas. These boxes will arrive just before the holidays. It's a great way to support our troops!
