When families turned the water faucet in their home, water barely dripped out. They had no water for drinking, cooking, bathing, or washing hands. It was so bad that families had to purchase buckets of water from companies that delivered water in old tanker trucks.
This project will provide water to residents in several neighborhoods in part of the City of Matamoros Mexico with an adequate supply of clean water that will help improve health conditions and quality of life for the families.
This is the 3rd Global Grant bringing the total to $221,000 for these clean drinking water projects.
